Ponsse and Suomen Digimarkkinointi Oy have been selected as Finland’s best sales organisations in 2022. Ponsse’s selection was based on customer closeness and the production of value for customers.

Ponsse is Finland’s best sales organisation

The goal of the Finland’s best sales organisation competition is to promote the sales culture and increase appreciation for sales and marketing. The competition was held in cooperation with the union for professionals in sales, purchasing, and marketing (MMA) and Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences. The jury consisted of industry professionals, including representatives of previous years’ winners and specialists from Aalto University’s Department of Marketing, the University of Eastern Finland and Haaga-Helia. The recognition was given in Helsinki on 20 April 2023. The competition was already held for the 13th time.

Ponsse’s selection was especially based on customer closeness and the production of value for customers.

“In this company, the customer and the customer value are at the core of operations. The company produces results year in, year out, and its team spirit is exceptionally good. The company’s goal is to be number one or at least number two in selected markets. In its operations, the company invests in excellent customer service, and it knows its customers. Sales take place close to customers in a good way, and customers are engaged in close interaction with the company,” says jury member Jonna Koponen from the University of Eastern Finland.

“We are thankful for this recognition. Customer closeness, listening to customers and developing our operations based on customer feedback are key factors for us, and part of our daily activities. Ponsse’s founder Einari Vidgrén used to say: “Machine users are the best experts, and we want to listen to them.” This has been one of the cornerstones of our operations from day one, and it always will be,” says Jani Liukkonen, Country Director for Ponsse Finland.

Participants in this open competition were selected on the basis of online nominations, companies’ own registrations and the expert jury’s assessments.
