An improved fairground - easier to experience it all
Elmia Wood 2025 presents an improved exhibition loop of around 3.5 km, designed to provide a more efficient and inspiring experience. With improved flows and smart shortcuts, it will be easier to move between exhibitors, demonstrations and seminars.
Along the loop, there are three strategically placed stages where visitors can catch up on the latest news from the industry, listen to experts and be inspired by innovative solutions - right in the centre of the action.
STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® - Elmia Wood hosts the Nordic Championships
Elmia Wood will host the STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® Nordic Championships on 7 June. The Nordic region's top athletes will compete in all six disciplines of the sport - three with an axe, two with a chainsaw, and one with a handsaw, in the Pro, Rookie and Women's classes. The competition serves not only as a spectacular season opener but also as a qualifier for the World Championships in Milan, where top Swedish athletes Ferry Svan and Emil Hansson are expected to fight for the coveted spot. The winner of the Pro class will qualify to represent Sweden at the individual World Championships in Milan, 24-25 October, while the silver medallist will have the chance to compete in the World Championships team event.

Campus Wood - future forestry experts take their place
Campus Wood is a brand new initiative to inspire young people and develop future skills in the forestry industry. Here, high schools, colleges, universities and education providers meet to showcase the exciting career opportunities in the forest industry. Visitors can also test their skills in advanced forestry machine simulators and experience how professional gamers tackle the digital tools of forestry.
The arborist area - a meeting place for arborists and climbers
The new Arborist area is a central meeting place for arborists, climbing experts and forest managers. It brings together industry-leading suppliers and experts to showcase the latest equipment and techniques for safe and efficient work in trees. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore innovative solutions, try out equipment and experience advanced climbing techniques in practice.
