Kesla Introduces the New BB360 Rotator for Harvester Heads
Kesla has expanded its range of harvester head accessories with the introduction of the new BB360 rotator, which enables unlimited rotation without traditional movement restrictions. The solution is designed to improve operational efficiency and reduce the limitations associated with hose routing and cabling in demanding harvesting conditions.
Unlimited Rotation Without Hose Limitations
The BB360 rotator eliminates restrictions related to hose routing between the boom and the harvester head. These limitations have traditionally reduced the available working area and increased the risk of damage to hydraulic hoses and control cables, potentially resulting in downtime and additional maintenance costs.
Similar solutions are already in use by other harvester head manufacturers, and the concept has proven effective in practical forestry operations.
Smoother and More Efficient Operation
According to Kesla, the new rotator solution allows operators to focus more fully on harvesting work, as there is no need to continuously monitor the harvester head’s orientation due to limitations in energy transfer and cabling.
The company says the system enables smoother and less interrupted operation, particularly in demanding working environments.
Available for Two Harvester Head Models
The KESLA BB360 rotator is manufactured in Finland and is currently available for KESLA 24RH-III and 26RH-III harvester heads. Availability is expected to expand to additional models and markets in the future.
The first harvester heads equipped with the BB360 are already being delivered to customers.
KESLA harvester heads are manufactured in Finland. The company states that new products and accessories are developed and tested in close cooperation with customers around the world to ensure they meet the requirements of real-world forestry operations.
The BB360 rotator is part of Kesla’s ongoing product development programme for harvester heads and forestry equipment.
