Niclas Rosenlew appointed Deputy CEO of Stora Enso

Stora Enso has appointed its Chief Financial Officer Niclas Rosenlew as Deputy CEO. Rosenlew will continue in his current role as CFO and will also serve as deputy to President and CEO Hans Sohlström. The appointment took effect on 17 September.

Niclas Rosenlew has been appointed Deputy CEO of Stora Enso in addition to his current role as CFO. He will also serve as deputy to President and CEO Hans Sohlström.

Rosenlew is a member of Stora Enso’s Group Leadership Team. In his new role, he will serve as deputy to President and CEO Hans Sohlström alongside his existing responsibilities. Sohlström will continue as Stora Enso’s President and CEO.

“Niclas Rosenlew contributes to Stora Enso’s performance through strong leadership, business acumen and a consistent focus on delivering results. Niclas and I already work closely together, and this appointment reflects that partnership,” Sohlström says.

According to Sohlström, the appointment will also strengthen the company’s engagement with customers, partners, investors and other stakeholders while maintaining a strong focus on executing Stora Enso’s strategy.

Rosenlew says he is honoured by the trust placed in him.

“I look forward to continuing to work closely with Hans, our leadership team and colleagues across Stora Enso. Together, we will continue to drive the company’s strategy and create value for our customers and shareholders,” Rosenlew says.
