Preparations Underway for the Anniversary Event in Härmä

Organizers Hannele Loukasmäki, Juha Ristimaa, Rami Tynjälä, and Ari Nukala are preparing for the 20th anniversary of the international transport industry’s major event, the Power Truck Show. The event will feature over 650 exhibition trucks, more than 160 transport fair stands, and over 100 model trucks. Approximately 50 of the exhibition trucks are arriving from 15 different countries. Among others, participants from France are already en route to the flatlands of Southern Ostrobothnia, heading towards Härmä. The event promises around 20 different programs, ranging from motor shows to music performances. Notably, there will be a drifting show on both days at the Mika Salo Circuit karting track, showcasing Finland’s top 10 drifting teams in a show format.

On Thursday, the truck convoy will fill the parking areas and gas stations along the highways as around 40 trucks drive in a unified convoy towards the Power Truck Show. The convoy includes Swiss participant Markus Widmer, whose Volvo FH is uniquely painted with spray paint and marker.

On Friday, August 9 at 2:00 PM, the Power Truck Show will host a significant seminar titled “More Young People in the Transport Industry.” The seminar will feature young entrepreneurs who have either started their own transport companies or taken over existing businesses. The event will also cover new trends in industry education and offer financial success tips from a representative of a financial institution.

The Power Truck Show will be held next weekend, August 9-10, 2024, in Alahärmä at the PowerPark amusement park, marking its 20th anniversary. The Power Truck Show is an international major event in the transport industry, comprising various segments. The event includes a car exhibition, transport fair, model truck exhibition, various motor shows like drifting, stunt riding, freestyle motocross, and much more. Additionally, there are numerous activities for children, starting with Ti-Ti Nalle. The fair stands also offer a variety of engaging activities.
