SP 461 LF Next Generation

Are you looking for a powerful thinning head in a convenient format? The SP 461 LF NG is the next generation of thinning head, combining low weight, compact dimensions and impressive productivity – perfect for both harvesters operating from service roads and fitted with long cranes, as well as for smaller harvesters operating in stands.
With the SP 461 LF Next Generation, you get an energy-efficient and fuel-efficient head that is able to produce more at a lower cost – an asset for your overall economy and your forestry operations.

Thanks to SP’s unique Low Friction Concept, you get a head that offers rapid feeding, low energy consumption, and high operational reliability. With patented solutions such as LogHold and proportionally angled feed rollers, the SP 461 LF NG delivers impressive efficiency even when thinning larger diameter trees.

The head reaches its absolute peak capacity in stands with a diameter of 8–35 cm bhd, but thanks to the LF concept, it can also handle larger diameter stems efficiently.

SP 661 LF Lite

Would you like a harvester head with the same great properties as the 661 LF – but with a lower weight?

Then the SP 661 LF Lite is the obvious choice. The SP 661 LF Lite is a lightweight and efficient head, optimized for mid-range wheeled harvesters. The head is designed in accordance with SP’s tried and tested Low Friction Principle, which means minimal friction, maximum production, and optimal fuel efficiency. The SP 661 LF Lite has been developed to offer the highest quality and productivity in all types of final felling.

In heavy final felling, the proportionally angled feed rollers, combined with SP’s patented LogHold system, deliver
maximum capacity and production. The agile design comes into its own in small-diameter final felling, and when equipped with Multi-tree handling, even very small stems can be felled quickly and efficiently.

The SP 661 LF Lite reaches its absolute peak capacity with stems with a diameter of 16–51 cm bhd, but thanks to the LF principle, it can also handle larger diameter stems efficiently.
