Scania highlights digital driver coaching and service support alongside Dynamic updates
Scania is combining its Dynamic truck updates with digital services and the Services 360 portfolio to support driver performance and vehicle uptime. According to the company, a study involving 900 drivers recorded average fuel savings of 3.1 per cent following the use of its ProDriver digital coaching service.

Scania Dynamic introduces updates to the driver environment, energy efficiency and everyday usability. These include enhanced interior comfort, new lighting, digital rear-view mirrors and driver support functions.
Alongside the vehicle updates, Scania offers digital tools for drivers and fleet managers, as well as service packages for both electric and combustion-engine fleets.
“By connecting the vehicle, driver and fleet manager, Scania’s digital ecosystem turns data into action, supporting more efficient driving, better vehicle control and improved operational performance every day,” says Lars Gustafsson, Senior Vice President, Head of Solutions Management at Scania.
ProDriver supports more efficient driving
Available through the Scania Driver app, ProDriver combines digital coaching, learning modules and real-life driving challenges in a gamified format. The service is designed to help drivers develop more efficient driving habits over time.
According to Scania, a study comparing the performance of 900 drivers before and after using ProDriver recorded fuel savings across all driver groups. Savings reached up to 5 per cent, depending on drivers’ existing performance and habits, while fleets achieved an average saving of 3.1 per cent. The company says even drivers who were already performing well made further improvements.
Fleet managers can monitor ProDriver metrics through My Scania, allowing them to follow driver development alongside operational performance.
Remote access for drivers, fleet information for managers
The Scania Driver app provides remote access to vehicle status information and control functions. Drivers can check vehicle readiness before departure and prepare for the working day before entering the cab.
The digital services serve different roles within a transport operation. The Scania Driver app focuses on the driver and the individual vehicle, while My Scania provides fleet information and access to Scania services. The Scania Fleet app offers a mobile fleet overview for back-office personnel.
Services 360 covers maintenance and uptime
Scania’s Services 360 portfolio complements these digital tools with a modular service offering for electric and combustion-engine fleets. It covers areas such as maintenance planning, repair coverage, digital tools and uptime support.
The aim is to help operators plan maintenance and manage vehicle availability throughout the vehicle’s working life. Together with the Dynamic updates and digital driver support, Scania positions the portfolio as a way to improve operating efficiency and make day-to-day fleet performance more predictable.
