Sisu Auto has completed its 300th SISU GTP military vehicle. The previous milestone, the 200th vehicle, was reached less than six months earlier. The company plans to continue increasing its production capacity.

Sisu Auto has rapidly increased production of the SISU GTP. According to the company, reaching the 300-vehicle milestone demonstrates its ability to expand production capacity and shorten delivery times in response to growing demand.

The SISU GTP is a modular, highly mobile protected vehicle platform. Its various configurations are designed for troop transport, command and control, logistics and medical support missions, as well as a range of specialised systems.

The framework agreement with the Finnish and Swedish Defence Forces, together with growing international interest, has created a foundation for long-term production growth.

"The completion of the 300th SISU GTP vehicle is, above all, proof that we have been able to expand our production systematically and in a controlled manner. We have invested in production capacity, developed our supply chain and strengthened cooperation with our partner network," says Tomi Gardemeister, CEO of Sisu Auto.

According to the company, producing 100 vehicles in less than six months represents a significant change in the scale of production. The growth has been supported by investments in production development, personnel expertise and supply chain performance.

"Increasing production is not merely about raising output volumes. We have improved our processes, delivery reliability and production quality in a way that allows us to continue growing in a controlled manner. Our goal is to keep increasing capacity in line with our customers’ needs," says Kalle Suominen, Production Manager at Sisu Auto.

Sisu Auto continues to develop SISU GTP production as part of its long-term growth strategy. The company aims to further increase production capacity, respond to growing international demand and expand into new markets.

– Developments over recent years have demonstrated that the SISU GTP meets customers’ needs exceptionally well. Our next goal is to continue expanding production, prepare for new delivery programmes and open new markets, Gardemeister says.

Sisu Auto directly employs more than 180 people. The company reported revenue of EUR 91 million in 2025 and forecasts revenue of EUR 175 million for 2026 and more than EUR 220 million for 2027. Exports account for approximately 80 per cent of total revenue.
