Sisu Auto partners with Szczęśniak to develop military vehicles for Polish market

Sisu Auto and Polish special-purpose vehicle manufacturer Szczęśniak Pojazdy Specjalne have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to develop military vehicle solutions based on the SISU GTP platform. The companies will also explore opportunities for localisation and the involvement of Polish suppliers.

The cooperation focuses on military vehicle solutions based on the SISU GTP platform, including locally integrated variants for Polish users.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed at the MSPO defence industry exhibition in Poland on 10 September 2026. The cooperation aims to serve Polish defence and security authorities as well as international customers.

The partnership will combine Sisu Auto’s military vehicle platform with Szczęśniak’s expertise in system integration, vehicle adaptation and mission-specific equipment. The companies intend to explore new vehicle variants, localisation opportunities and the use of the Polish industrial supply chain.

Locally integrated GTP variants for Polish users

Szczęśniak aims to offer the SISU GTP platform to the Polish market and develop locally integrated variants tailored to domestic requirements.
